News Release about cooperation between EduExcellence & GLC Group

April 2020, under witness of Finland Ambassador China, EduExcellence and GLC Group signed cooperation agreement via cloud, to promote Finnish vocational education in China.

During 2020-2021, as sole representative of Finland Higher Vocational Education Universities, GLC Group was invited to join the delegation, organized by Team Finland China, led by Finland Ambassador China and Finland Consul General Shanghai, participated several provincial education dialogues, sharing Finnish Vocational Education and capability of EduExcellence. Meanwhile, cooperation discussions continue within colleges network of GLC Group, including Shanghai, Shandong Province, Henan Province, Zhejiang Province and Sichuan Province etc, for examples, Shanghai University of Medicine and Health Science, Shanghai Information Management School, Shandong Binzhou University, Binzhou Polytechnic College, Laiwu Polytechnic College, Rizhao Polytechnic College, Linyi University, Henan Institute of Science and Technology, Henan Jianye Qinglan Vocational School, Zhejiang Hangzhou Qiushi College, Sichuan Chengdu Polytechnic College.

Among cooperation discussions, topics including joint delivery program(diploma, degree), training package(course) with ECTS, teacher’s online training, bridge course of degree pathway etc.

Upon previous successful progress, there will be further development of existing programs this year. With great success of Kenya program, EduExcellence and GLC will discuss possible jointly setup and run EE Vocational Education(China) Center, together with Chinese colleges and other relevant organizations, to help improve high quality development of vocational education, introducing international standard certificates, jointly develop international curriculum standards, cultivate double qualified teachers, student exchanges etc.

This year, Binzhou City will host “The 10^th High Level Dialogue on Vocational Education & Urban Development”, which is initialed by China Vocational Education Association, this year’s topic is “Exploration and Prospect of building a skilled Society”. As long term partner of Education Bureau, Foreign Affairs Office of Binzhou city , GLC Group was invited to be co-organizer of international sub forum, GLC and EduExcellence will work together to run international forum, share good aspects of Finnish skills sector.
